The Ovation MC950D is a 3G modem offering up to 7.2Mbps speed over the cellular network contained within a USB stick just measuring just 7cm.

Using the very latest 3G HSUPA, HSDPA and UMTS technology the Ovation MC950D offers high speed data access of speeds up to 7.2Mbps.

The Ovation MC950D also offers Quadband EDGE and GPRS connectivity options for those without 3G Data access.

Laptops traditionally offer less power via USB connections than Desktop PCs, so in low signal areas or for top performance Ovation supply a USB 'Y' cable with the MC950D allowing it take power from two USB sockets. In low signal areas this can greatly improve the 3G connection.

Ovation also integrate two technologies called Receiver Diversity and Equaliser Support. These allow the Ovation MC950D to perform better in noisy or when mobile situations handling the signal better at the edge of a cellular area or inside buildings.

The Ovation MC950D uses a standard SIM Card from any network. Ovation recommend a Contract SIM and the Ovation MC950D will need a data plan or tariff enabled on the SIM.

At just 37g in weight with and all the flexibility of the driverless USB form factor, the Ovation MC950D is one of the easiest way to take a broadband link from place to place and machine to machine.
